CBD Effects on High Blood Pressure

High Blood pressure or Hypertension is understood as blood pressure that is higher than normal.  Levels of blood pressure varies throughout the day depending on your daily activities.  High blood pressure if left untreated may lead to various health issues such as heart attack, stroke, vision loss, kidney disease, heart failure or sexual dysfunction.

For most cases with hypertension does not come with symptoms and may go undetected until you it reaches its severity that’s when you may experience headaches, nosebleeds, shortness of breath, dizziness or chest pain.  If you experience any of these symptoms it is advised that you should seek medical care immediately.

To control high blood pressure you can control your diet and cut down on salt or fatty diets, cut back on alcohol, lose weight, exercise regularly, stop smoking and lower your caffeine intake.  If you cannot control your blood pressure then medication is commonly prescribed for you, but today a lot of people are using CBD to help control high blood pressure too.  We will examine on how CBD can help with hypertension.

CBD is an active compound extracted from the cannabis plant.  CBD is use to help improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, helps with concentration, relief pain, reduce symptoms of mental disorders or helps with nausea and vomiting among other things.  CBD are found in three forms CBD Isolate which is made from pure CBD and contains no THC.  Full-Spectrum is made from CBD, THC and other cannabinoids and the third option is Broad-Spectrum CBD which is similar to Full-Spectrum but without THC.  CBD can be found as oil or tinctures, edibles, capsules, topical or vapes.

Studies have shown the CBD is able to reduce stress in your brain improving mood which is linked to reducing hypertension.  Studies have shown that when stress is reduced it helps people to feel lighter which does have an impact on heart rate.  People have been sharing their experiences about using CBD to control blood pressure and the most common effect is a body-wide relaxing feeling which definite impacts your heartbeat.  This is good news for people looking for a natural solution.

CBD may contain minor side effects like nausea, change of appetite or fatigue.  CBD may also interact with other medication therefore it is recommend to consult a doctor for the best solutions before using CBD.  In 2017 WHO has reported that CBD is safe to use and your body can tolerate CBD very well in turn lowering the chances of misuse or dependency.  An important point to note is using THC or combining THC with CBD may increase high blood pressure according to a study in 2011.  Therefore it is advised to choose product that is made from CBD Isolate that is free from THC.  Mellow Organic CBD Oil is made from CBD Isolate.  One bottle consist of 30ml and has 900mg of CBD.  Mellow Organic is organic and free from harmful chemicals and pesticides.
